TV Shows You Should Look Forward To In 2014/15.

The previous fall, the audience got to witness some pretty interesting shows while some faced the end of the road like How I Met Your Mother. Moving on from the days of Breaking Bad and How I Met Your Mother we are all set to experience some new shows which might rise up or go down into oblivion at the end of the season.

The fall is still 2 months away but the rumor mills are buzzing already of who might appear in the show and who wouldn’t and with the upcoming Comic-Con International the excitement increases by each passing day. So here we prepare a list of shows which you should look forward to and watch in 2014-15:
1. Gotham

This one appears to be on every critic/reviewers list. This might be because we haven’t seen a series yet on Batman or because everyone is just excited to see the origins of Batman’s various arch nemesis. There have been rumors about the appearance of Joker in every episode and his sighting in the innumerable trailers which FOX have released lays stake to that claim. If this turns out true, the audience for the show will go on increasing only because of the raw power the character attracts. Whatever it is, with the first look and trailer giving us some power packed performances and an intriguing storyline, we aren’t the ones who’ll complain. Gotham will air on FOX on Monday, September 22.

2. The Big Bang Theory

First we witnessed F.R.I.E.N.D.S, then How I Met Your Mother and now we have The Big Bang Theory. Agreed the fans of the former two shows will fight on keeping these three separate but the humor in these has always got us laughing and with The Big Bang Theory still running we head into its eighth season. 7 long seasons is a pretty big achievement and in the world of television series everything comes to an end. With the network renewing its deal for 3 more years, we are all set to witness the Nerdy-affair for 3 more seasons. All the guys in the show getting a girlfriend (not you Howard) in the final episode is a pretty good option to go by and gives the show various possibilities to go ahead in the show. The Big Bang Theory will air on Monday, September 22.

3. The Flash

Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) appeared in 2 episodes of Arrow’s Season 2. This created a lot of hype among the media if a series of Flash is under way and after sometime VOILA! The pilot for the series gets ordered. Sadly the pilot got leaked on various torrent websites months before its actual telecast. The people who saw the pilot stormed towards the social networking websites to praise it and even hailed it as one of the best shows to watch this season, which in turn has made the writers life difficult on how to make it more awesome. The Flash will air on Tuesday, October 7.

4. Game of Thrones

No list would be ever complete without this particular entry. The show comprises of an astounding cast delivering stellar performances based on the books of George R.R. Martin. The show has never stopped in making heads turn with various controversies on nudity, violence, abuse and what not. Still it doesn’t fail to rule the hearts of millions of fans of the show worldwide who are increasing with every season. The continuous death of some of its important characters always leads to a suspense of what might happen in the next episode or season. Expect the fifth season of Game of Thrones to premiere at the end of the year or the beginning of next year.

5. Mulaney

Last year NBC made the big mistake of going for the other two comedy shows which eventually got cancelled due to its low reception with the audience. Now it is FOX’s chance to make use of that opportunity and resurrect Mulaney. If none of you are familiar with Mulaney, just put him as a comedic genius. With various slots for comedy shows already empty and no other worthy contender which can go up against Mulaney, FOX is sure to hit a jackpot with this one. If you are the one who likes stand-up comedies then this would be the show you don’t wanna miss!!!! Mulaney will air on FOX on Sunday, October 5.
