New Nokia Lumia 730 To Support NFC, 4G And Qi Wireless Charging


The new upcoming Nokia/Microsoft smartphone - Lumia 730 has been talked about for quite some time now. It is being touted as the "selfie" smartphone that will be launched on September 4, 2014 at the IFA Trade show in Berlin, Germany.


This smartphone was earlier also spotted on the FCC certificate website and from that it appears that the Lumia 730 will carry the model number RM-1038. This smartphone will have support for NFC along with 4G LTE.

From the previous rumors, it has been touted that the Nokia Lumia 730 will feature Snapdragon 400 processor along with 1GB of RAM. There will be 8GB of internal storage. The smartphone is likely to come with a 4.7-inch 720p display. For camera, it is likely to come with an 8 MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. This will be another dual-SIM offering from Nokia. As of now, there is no information available in regards to the price of the Nokia Lumia 730 but we are expecting it to be available for about $250.

As per the details available through Nokia Power User, the Lumia 730 will have dimensions of 134.7 x 68.5 mm (5.3 x 2.69 in). Furthermore, this smartphone is also expected to support for 4G LTE and Qi Wireless charging (which we have seen on previous Nokia smartphones such as Lumia 920). The Lumia 730 will work with nano SIMs and will also support memory expansion via microSD card.
